  • INITIAL CONSULTATION

    An in-person meeting so we can get an informal grasp on what you are looking to accomplish and so you can get to know us. We will share some content that comes with our method so you can get familiarized. These meetings typically take about an hour, but can last longer for more involved projects.

  • PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDY

    We conduct a preliminary study that is tailored to your project. This is a formalized report that captures the specific requirements posed by your project and location. Reviewing your plans, local legal restrictions, consulting other industry professionals, product research, and more can be involved at this stage. This is critical for ensuring energy and resources are used effectively before pursuing plans and designs.

  • DESIGN

    If you haven’t already begun with a designer or architect, this is when we can pair you with whom we think is your best fit. We rely on our experiences from past projects to provide you a few options that we recommend. This step is crucial for ensuring everything is considered when your project is planned. Each project will require a certain amount of expertise to create a cohesive plan and feel. We’ll be there along the way.

  • PROJECT FEASIBILITY STUDY

    A complete feasibility study that is customized to your project. The process evaluates the technical, economic, and timeframe constraints of your project. Based on the designs and plans, we generate a detailed report with a complete scope of work and budget for your project. From this, modifications can be made to the plans, designs, or scope as necessary to tailor the project to your goals.

  • PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT

    With designs, plans, and a feasible project that you are comfortable with, we will draw up a proposal and contract that captures every detail of your project and its timeline. We can provide examples of these ahead of time; this stage is so everyone knows what to expect. Completion of this step solidifies your position on the calendar.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT

    You are ready to get started and so are we. Equipped with an accurate and complete project plan, we start setting the pieces in motion for your project: receiving permits, scheduling subcontractors, ordering materials, and more.

  • ON-SITE WORK

    The diligent planning has allowed for the project to begin taking shape. Ideas become spaces you can feel. We conduct quality checks during the work to ensure details aren’t missed. Cleaning and organization takes place daily to minimize debris and keep everything feeling like a home while it is taking shape.

    Communication stays current throughout, and weekly check-ins summarize activity. We want you to know what is happening, when to expect it, and by whom. While the destination is ultimately the goal, the journey should allow you to arrive comfortably.

  • QUALITY ASSURANCE

    With your new space constructed, we conduct our own inspections to ensure each component and element is up to our standards. The municipal inspections will take place of each system, granting occupancy. We take this time to get to the deep detail cleaning, to ensure your spaces are ready to be lived in.

  • HOME

    We equip you with all the documentation for your various systems and components. How-to walk-throughs ensure that you know how to access the elements of your home and what to do with each. We’ll let you know how to care for your spaces as you live in it. Our diligence has prepared everything for your arrival, but only you can make the space a home.

    We schedule follow-up visits for the future at this time, but you can contact us anytime.

  • SIX MONTH VISIT

    We conduct a thorough check of your home, inside and out. The check-up is designed to evaluate how the home is acclimating to everything. As the various elements get used to their new environment, they may require adjustment, and we do so at this time.

  • ONE YEAR VISIT

    Similar to the 6 month visit, now each component has had time to acclimate completely, we want to check it all again to ensure everything is operating smoothly.

    The most important part of a space is the life that’s lived in it. It is important to us that we assist you with anything you or your home needs. Homes that endure and thrive are our passion.

  • We know that exacting tastes don’t have a boundary for size of project, neither do we. Contact us with your idea, and if we can’t find something that works for both of us, we’ll give you a recommendation for someone who can.

  • Working on homes, especially renovations, is personal. Everyone is familiar with working with a business in some way, but it’s different when you invite someone into your home. We are very selective in who we work with. Your comfort and security is our top priority.

    Additionally, this is a component of why our communication and project management is structured the way it is, for you to know what is happening, when, and by whom. It is a priority of ours to accommodate how you secure your home and how you want us to access the space.

  • We are often taking pictures of our work for purposes of record keeping. An example: we record the structure and systems of the house before wall cladding is installed, for future reference if the cavities need to be accessed, etc.

    Sometimes we need to share these with inspectors for purposes of their inspections.

    We will request authorization from you before we share or post images and videos online of the project.

  • Everyone has different preferences in how to communicate. Some people prefer digital, some prefer to hold a piece of paper in their hands. Projects involve lots of communication, and our goal is your comfort and ease of use. We tend to default to digital for ease of disbursement, but still use paper for certain things as well.

    If you have a preferred method, don’t hesitate to let us know. We’ll accommodate your preferences.

  • It can’t be overstated: every person is different, every project is different. Our clients have specific tastes and requests, it’s our goal to accommodate everything we can. Just because your question doesn’t show up here, doesn’t mean we can’t answer it. Contact us with what you are thinking.
